Course Overview

Theory

Learn the fundamentals of scuba diving through the PADI eLearning platform, accessible anytime, anywhere.

Pool Sessions

Practice key skills in a safe environment at Lagan Valley LeisurePlex, Lisburn.

Open Water Qualifying Dives

Complete your dives in stunning Northern Ireland locations such as Portaferry’s Inner Lees Wreck, Red Bay sea grass beds, or Dunseverick.

Duration & Schedule

• 5 pool sessions + eLearning + 2 days at sea
• 2 pool sessions + 3 days at sea
• 3–4 weekdays

Course Requirements

• Minimum age: 10
• Completion of medical form
• Swim 200m using any stroke
• Float/tread water for 10 minutes

Continue Your Scuba Journey

After completing your PADI Open Water Diver certification, you can join our Club where you can join dives  every weekend, progress to the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course, or take one or our diver specialty courses. We also organize dive trips throughout Northern Ireland and abroad.
