1. Confined Water Dives
Purpose: Develop essential diving skills in a safe and controlled environment. Our confined water sessions take place at Lisburn Leisure Plex, where we utilize their dedicated diving pool featuring warm, clear water. This comfortable setting ensures both safety and ease as you master the fundamental techniques of scuba diving.
Skills Practiced:
Breathing underwater with a regulator.
Clearing water from your mask.
Achieving neutral buoyancy.
Emergency techniques (e.g., sharing air with a buddy) and More.
Outcome: Build comfort and confidence in the water.
2. Open Water Dives
Purpose: Apply your knowledge and skills in real-world environments under instructor supervision.
Format: Typically involves four dives in an open water setting (e.g., ocean, lake).
Focus Areas:
Navigation and dive planning.
Dealing with varying conditions like currents or limited visibility.
Exploring underwater environments.
Outcome: Complete the certification process to become a PADI Open Water Diver, allowing you to dive independently (with a buddy) up to 18 meters/60 feet.
3. Knowledge Development
Purpose: Learn the theory and science behind scuba diving, including equipment, safety practices, and underwater communication.
Format: Online eLearning, independent study at Home Via the PADI E-Learning Platform (Include with your Course)
Topics Covered:
Dive physics and physiology (e.g., buoyancy, pressure effects).
Safe diving practices and emergency procedures.
Understanding dive equipment and the underwater environment.
This is What’s Included in the PADI Course fee
- 5 Wednesday Evenings 730 to 930 for confined Pool sessions plus full kit hire included (in Lisburn Leisure Plex heated pool)
- 4 open water dives over 2 days available 7 Days a week
- PADI online E-learning Knowledge development supplied with every course (RRP £203)
- All Gear Provided: We supply all the gear you need for the course – no extra cost.
- PADI Certification: Upon successful completion, you’ll earn the PADI Open Water Diver certification.

Price Excludes
- Any Transport to the dive sites.
- Boat fees if boat diving is requested by you for open water Dives.
- Loss or Damage of equipment used while you are completing your course.
COURSE PREREQUISITES
- You must be 10 years old and students under 18 must have signed parental consent.
- MAXIMUM AGE There isn’t one! As long as your fit enough to dive, Please check fit to dive medical form.
- Good overall health is required. You may need a Dr’s approval If you answer yes to any of the questions under certain circumstances.

- Part A This covers all the confined Pool sessions and the Padi E-learning registration pack – Part A Cost: £350
- Part B This covers The open water section and certification of Your course and is due 5 weeks after Part A Cost: £250
