What’s Involved?
This course combines classroom learning with a hands-on underwater cleanup. It begins with understanding Marine Debris: what it is, where it comes from, and its effects. Then Dive against debris as part of a field exercise to plan a survey. Additionally, you will identify sites, use proper equipment, and conduct effective cleanups. Photography and data collection teach what to remove, what to leave behind, and how to report findings. Finally, follow the 5-step reporting process to ensure your cleanup contributes to global marine conservation.

- Certification: PADI Dive Against Debris Specialty
- Requirements:
- PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
- Minimum age: 12 years
