The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty Course teaches you how to explore these submerged time capsules safely and responsibly, while gaining the skills to navigate, map, and even penetrate wrecks within recreational limits.

What You’ll Learn

Wreck diving is thrilling, but it requires proper techniques and respect for history and marine life. Over four open water dives, you’ll learn:

• Safety procedures for navigating and exploring wrecks.
• How to survey and map a wreck site.
• Proper use of reels and guide lines for limited wreck penetration.
• Techniques to maintain good buoyancy and avoid disturbing silt or damaging marine life.
• Wreck diving laws, equipment use, and how to research wreck sites.

Course Prerequisites

• Minimum Age: 15 years old
• Minimum Certification: PADI Adventure Diver (or equivalent)

Course Duration

• 2 Days – 4 Open Water Dives
