What You’ll Learn

Over the course of four open water dives across two days, you’ll develop the skills to:

• Plan and organize search dives based on real-world scenarios
• Use compass and natural navigation to swim precise search patterns
• Locate small and large objects using different techniques
• Use lift bags and recovery tools to safely bring heavy or awkward items to the surface
• Manage team communication and underwater problem-solving

This course is ideal for divers who enjoy problem-solving, teamwork, and improving their practical dive skills.

• Duration: 2 days, 4 open water dives
• Location: Local dive sites with Dive Club NI
• Minimum Age: 12 years
• Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water (or qualifying certification)
• Study Requirements: Complete eLearning and knowledge reviews prior to the course
