Our journey begins along the rugged Antrim coastline, passing the striking ruins of Kinbane Castle, standing proudly above the crashing Atlantic waves. We then continue toward the iconic cliffs and rope bridge of Carrick-a-Rede, offering breathtaking views that can only be experienced from the sea.
Heading north across open water, we reach the dramatic western side of Rathlin Island and the unique Rathlin West Lighthouse, famously built into the cliff face and known as Ireland’s “upside-down lighthouse.” This area is rich in wildlife, where seals are often seen resting on rocks and seabirds soar overhead. Dolphins may even appear alongside the boat on lucky days.
We then cruise into the sheltered waters of Church Bay, the colourful heart of the island. Guests have the option to step ashore for approximately 30 minutes to explore the harbour village, take photographs, stretch their legs or enjoy refreshments before continuing the journey.
Leaving Rathlin behind, we pass Rue Point Lighthouse with stunning views across the channel to Torr Head, before returning along the scenic coastline to Ballycastle.
